Into the Wild

10.06.2007 | Entertainment | 4 comments

But, I do want to recommend an amazing movie: Into the Wild. I know this movie comes from an amazing book. I can admit I am not a huge reader as much as I used to be in the past. And I am not a huge movie critic. I enjoy most movies for what they are to me. I don’t really understand what it could mean to someone else. So I rarely will tell someone to see something or not see it. Well, unless it’s an amazingly stupid story or idea. But I do kinda pride myself into finding a great movie for me. I have seen some really good ones lately.

I can say I’ve seen a fairly good amount of movies in my life like most people. But, I can honestly say I usually don’t watch a movie twice. Well, unless my mom hasn’t seen it and I totally think she should. (BTW, I love going to the movie with my mom. It has been one of my favorite things forever. She is like the nest person to take.) I sure hope I get the chance to share this movie with someone else.

I am never afraid of emotion. It seems to be one of the things that drive me everyday. Into the Wild really got me emotionally. I really made me think. Like seriously. I wish I had the courage of Christopher McCandless. I am for sure not a huge hippy or do I have the urge to do what he did. But I do really connect with some of the ideas he went through.

This movie had some great acting with Emile Hirsch. I also really enjoyed the acting of Hal Holbrook and Vince Vaughn. The other actors were very good too! Eddie Vedder did an amazing job on the music. Sean Penn was superb in the writing and directing.

I really recommend this movie.

I sure hope to hear someone else gets a chance to see the movie. If you need someone to go with, give me a buzz.

*** I kinda regret not actually posting my Summer Movie Critiques. I still have it written down and I will actually post it when I get some real time to make it good. ***

So we had a great time up here in Big Bear, CA. The weather was great. The fun times were had. We ate, slept, Haloed, jowled, photoed, laughed, snuggled, ran after Maddux, walked, cooked, cleaned, etc.

Here we are all together!

It was awesome!

Thanks to the Kaisers and Lyons for playing with us! I really had a great time getting to know you all better. Next time, there will be two more little ones around! Can’t wait!!!

Thanks to all of those who have kept up with the little trip!

We’ll get back to phone calls and emails when we get back to AZ on the 8th of October.
