Matt Sloan: I personally like the Beastie Boys more, but also they are helped by the Roots backing them up! So BB get my vote! LOL! (26/05/09, 10:07)
Brett: The B-Boys killed it... MCA hasn't lost a step lyrically. They grays threw me off a bit though. (26/05/09, 10:31)
J: I liked the Beastie Boys performance, especially considering it's 40 something year old white dudes pulling off a good song. Blink 182 barely pull off a song that wasn't good to begin with. They should kinda be embarrassed to play songs about high school when they're in their 40s. (26/05/09, 10:32)
Brandon Lowe: I kinda wish the roof would collapse on both of them, so i wouldn't have to watch any of those washed up zilches :) But thats just me. But If I had to choose, it would be Blink 182! (26/05/09, 10:49)
Brett Jarnagin: I think Jimmy Fallon was the worst. (26/05/09, 11:32)
gretchen k: You already know my answer.....blink! =) i don't have words for how big of a fan i am! *sigh** and I will be there at the front of the pit @ this years warped tour! =p Tory is on the other side he votes b boys! (27/05/09, 12:09)
Austin Curtis: Jimmy Fallon is a likable guy, but you're right - he can't interview worth beans. As for the Beastie Grandpas, I thought they were decent - especially with Questlove playing the drums. Blink 182 wasn't as bad in this video as I remember, but they definitely lost. They should reretire. (27/05/09, 01:31)
chenin: I didn't watch the videos, mostly because I loathe Blink 182 (pop-punk crap, if you ask me)... Anyway, I thought I'd comment to say that I totally feel your pain. Nothing disappoints more than getting pumped to see a show and having the band suck live. I was dying to see Big D last year and I nearly walked out of the venue it was so bad. I blame drugs and booze, honestly. My guess is both Blink and BB are too hopped up on drugs to do a decent live show, which is sad. Imagine if we showed up to a wedding too drunk to focus our cameras.... (27/05/09, 07:35)
Jason McGrew: Beastie Boys by far killed that show. The Blink performance looked like a 3 four-year old playing rock band. I agree with Chenin.. getting hyped up for a crappy show plain sucks! (27/05/09, 11:23)
Matt Sloan: Blink has a special place in my <3 lol! But really they do! They remind me of some good times, but I would definitely say the Beastie Boys rocked it out!!! -Angie:) (28/05/09, 12:21)
Matthew Snelson: What's worse death by fire or freezing to death? If I had to pick one... ?Love killed it with the beats!! (28/05/09, 11:02)
HUDD: Hello Sir Matty! So, I watched both, and to be honest they make me feel old! I remember sneaking into a Beastie Boys show back in '95 and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever. Good times! As for Blink, they used to put on a good show, but I just feel like they don't care anymore. Check out their uninspired, half-assed performance from the second night on Leno: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aO3lmJZV_o It seriously seems like they could care less and are just going through the motions. Maybe they're just getting older like the rest of us... (28/05/09, 11:30)
ezra: Beastie Boys...and the Roots...that took me back! And who ever said Beastie Boys are washed-up zilches...your out of your mind!!! More Beastie Boys! (05/06/09, 10:49)
Jen Stewart: aaaahhhhhh, now THAT brings me back!!! Beastie Boys ALL THE WAY!!! I've seen them live a few times and they KILL IT! I can't believe how old they look (kinda makes me feel old) ;) Oh man, now I gotta open the windows and blast some Beasties! ;) (06/06/09, 11:44)
