8 Levels of Narcissism

08.17.2007 | News | 10 comments

Well, I was tagged by Melissa Jill to share 8 honest and true things about me (that maybe not even Angie knows?). Then I am supposed to pass the invite on to 8 other people. Since, I never liked chain letters in email forms or any forward for that matter (I seriously hate email forwards) I really thought about it which made me want to share.

1. I love movies so much, that sometimes I will go to the Movie Theatre and watch two or three at a time. But, I can rarely watch a movie twice. Only if it’s in my top 25 of all time.

2. I love music so much that I have over 300 GB in my iTunes folders. And I collect and collect and collect. It says if I were to continuously play the music all the way through, it would take around 721 days, 13 hours, 23 minutes, and 43 seconds. Sometimes when I get bored, I go through and organize everything and make sure I have complete albums. It’s kinda like my thing. Angie thinks I am nuts!

3. When I was younger, I had a serious bed wetting problem. Once I got invited to a friends birthday party (which was rare because I lived 5+ miles outside of my small town), and we all went to bed on the floor. Well, I woke up in the middle of the night around 2am soaked. I soaked my sleeping bag and the carpet we were on. I was so scared and embarrassed, that I called my parents at 2am to come pick me up. I snuck out and all that was left was… well ya know.

4. I can’t type on a keyboard and am afraid of learning. I grew up in a small farm town that had wood and auto shop classes but not typing classes. I really would love to learn. I do though type on the Blackberry like a rabbit! LOL!

5. My biggest fear in life is not being able to defend my family. I used to watch serious scary movies with my sister Michelle and I do have one huge fear: “Someone in our house!!!” Seriously!

6. I took art classes in College and am horrible at drawing, painting, and constructive things. I do wish I had more talents in the design field!

7. I used to live, eat, breathe, sleep, dream, and love sports. When I was young, my favorite sport was baseball. I was really good until the switch from coach pitch to kid pitch. I think the year it switched to kid pitch, I got hit 100+ times. That was the last time I played competitive baseball.

8. I grew up really close to my mom and a ton of her rubbed off on me. So I am a serious emotional wreck sometimes. Like during the show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and really touching times. There are sometimes commercials, TV shows, etc. Or like when I got married, or when i danced with my mom, or hold Maddux. It’s sometimes embarrassing.

So I am inviting 8 people, some I know and some I don’t know so well.

3. Joey Lawrence.

5. The Image is Found.
6. The Wiebners.
7. Riccis Valladares.
8. Sean Flanigan.

Commercial/Company Shoot
T’z MarketplaceChandler, AZ

We were really excited to be invited to shoot some shots for T’z Marketplace at The Art Walk of Chandler, AZ. They have an amazing wine selection and had a great amount of people there for their wine tasting.

It was our first time at the Art Walk and we were really impressed. We hit up our usual cool spots: T’z Marketplace, Inspirador, Baby Cakes, di Sciacca Glass, and Uptown Bridal. And there was awesome artists all along the walkway. We really enjoyed this cool artist that drew these cool “stick figure” rock ‘n roll scenes. It was so awesome!

Thanks Tonya for inviting us to shoot. Check back soon for her portrait session we’ll be shooting in the future!

Albums!

08.16.2007 | News | 6 comments

Tis’ the time of the year when we are starting to get everyone their album designs. It’s so awesome to see how weddings seem to come together so well in an album. It’s like an amazing wedding storybook! So for those who are looking for albums, take a look at some quick samples we had done by Shannon at Riso Studio and one design I did all by myself.

Here is an 8×10 40 Page Leather Craftsmen 3500 Flush Mount Series we did for Jene + Mark:

Here is another senior session album we did for Joseph. It’s a 5×7 24 Page Leather Craftsmen 3500 Flush Mount Series:

Here is my 5×5 Brag Book we shot of Colleen’s Bridal Session: (We also designed the same album in a 10×10 in metallic pages!)

We have so much more to share! We can’t wait to fill you all in on the designs!
